EXPERIENCE
A real estate veteran of 29 years, Susan began her career in San Francisco where she was associated with a premier San Francisco firm. Upon relocating to the Monterey Peninsula, Susan joined another acclaimed company, Alain Pinel Realtors, in Carmel. With its 30+ offices and 1300+ agents, it is the largest and strongest independent real estate firm in the Bay area. Susan specializes in selling fine homes and properties on the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. The Alain Pinel Carmel office has repeatedly honored her as one of their top-producing agents and she has received the APR Standards of Excellence – Distinguished Agent Award.

PERSONAL
Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Florida and a Masters degree in Educational Technology from San Francisco State University. Following completion of her education, Susan served her community as a teacher and teacher-trainer in the San Francisco Unified School District. Here she honed her people skills, learned to handle fine details and discovered the importance of follow-through, all which are crucial in the complicated process of real estate transactions.

Susan has experienced first hand many aspects of real estate including property management, remodeling, home ownership, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, and residential and investment property sales. She understands both the joys and stresses of real estate and is eager to help her clients enjoy the rewards of property ownership. As a Relocation Specialist in the Carmel office she has assisted numerous corporate transferees with their special needs while selling their home or purchasing a new one.

MEMBERSHIPS
Susan is a member of the Monterey County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Womens Council of Realtors. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. A strong advocate of professionalism in real estate Susan was the Charter President 2001-2002 of the Monterey Peninsula Chapter, Women’s Council of Realtors. She holds the following designations: GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; LTG, Leadership Training Graduate; and PMN, Performance Management Network. She also holds the Quality Service Certification assuring her clients they will receive the best representation.

Susan’s boundless energy spills over into many community activities as well. She volunteers and helps raise money for charity. Susan and her husband own a home in Pacific Grove where her rose garden is her passion. She also enjoys playing golf and walking by the ocean.
