Happy Mother’s Day! Carmel ~ Pebble Beach ~ or wherever you are!

Mr. Lincoln, my mother’s favorite rose

Today is Mother’s Day, a day we pay tribute not only to our own mothers, but to all the mothers of the world who give birth, who nurture their children, and who take care of their families.

Whether you live on the Monterey Peninsula or where ever, enjoy this day and celebrate! This is an unusual Mother’s Day and you may be celebrating in a different way than usual.  No fancy brunches, no eating out even and you may be miles away from your mother.  You may be talking to your mother on zoom, or face time, or just the phone.  However you communicate, you can still let them know they are deeply loved and appreciated.  God bless mothers everywhere.

Happy Mother’s Day to all!

Nothing ever seems too bad, too hard . . .

“Nothing ever seems too bad, too hard, or too sad when you’ve got a Christmas tree in the living room.”

-Nora Roberts

Holiday time is a joyous time and like the quote says . . . there is nothing like having a Christmas tree in the living room to fill your heart with contentment.  It’s always a sad day when it comes down.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!

Enjoy, because soon the New Year will be here along with fabulous opportunities for new adventures and explorations.
